Moments after Nigerian artistes, Tems and Omah Lay were remanded by Ugandan police, Nigerians have taken to social media to plead with singer Davido to buy Uganda after dicovering its GDP.
Afrigistbase recalls that Davido’s record label is popularly known as ’30 billion gang’ after he sang a song saying he has 30 billion in his account.
Davido tweeted about the release of Omah Lay and Tems saying: “Omo this Ugandan P, how can we help? What can we do? Artists just tryna eat! They didn’t bargain for this🤦🏾♂️ @PoliceUg !!!!! BIG CAP!!”
A Twitter user named @Kingslee__ replied the singer’s tweet.
“.@davido please buy Uganda and get my peoples out. Their gdp is $27 billion, so you’ll still have 3 billion left. 😔”
This tweet has generated lots of reactions from social media users.
