Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has taken to his Twitter platform on father’s day to announce that he will be adopting a 9-year-old boy, Joseph Opara, who appeared in viral videos entertaining potential customers with Christian songs, as his son.

FATHER’S DAY: Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinma to adopt viral 9-year-old singer as his sonAnnouncing the good news via Twitter, Governor Hope Uzodinma wrote;

“In celebration of #FathersDay, I directed that little 9 year old Master Joseph Oluomachi Opara, the viral Imo State-born singer be contacted as I announce my intentions to adopt him as my own child.

I also undertake, personally, to sponsor him from primary school level (his current educational level) to Catholic priesthood (his career choice).”

Mr Fani-Kayode also said he would give N250,000 instantly to the family.

Nigeria Mrs Oduah, on the other hand, also said the boy would receive free classes at her music school.
