Rema reacts to uproar about his lyrics, says he would not stop doing his “Edo lamba”

Rema has been trending on twitter for a while now because of the lyrics of his songs, the singer seems to have had enough of the criticism as he finally responds.

Rema’s new song “Ginger Me” hits the number 1 spot in 30 countriesMavins ace singer, Rema, has taken to social media, twitter  to respond to the criticism over his lyrics in his various songs.

According to some twitter users, Rema is fond of using ‘difficult to understand’ words and which have also been blasted for sometimes, being “meaningless”.

In a tweet he sent out on Friday, the ‘Dumebi’ crooner said that he will continue to use those lyrics which he called ‘Benin Lamba’.

“I’m a proud Edo boy, I’ll forever celebrate my culture, I no go shame to use my Benni lamba, they can call me crazy all they want because they don’t understand it but I will never box myself to please anybody. When I hear beat I must misbehave! get used to it,” he wrote.
