“We’re not doing again” LAWMA street sweepers Resign, Submit Their Uniforms In Protest Of Unpaid Salary

In a recent video which surfaced online, Lagos State sweepers employed by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), have dumped their uniforms in a public show as they protest non payment of their 3 months salaries.

"WeIn the video clip, the LAWMA sweepers are seen taking off their uniforms and dumping them in a heap in the middle of a busy road.

While dropping their uniforms, the protesters could  be heard saying:

“We are not treated well. Why would the 66 routes under my care be neglected? They are widows, single mothers and the aged, and left without money to care for themselves.We will go nowhere. We must get our salaries. I am ready to die for my people,” Iron Lady said during the protest.“We are not doing again, take your clothes”,
